I really wanted to try a top-down view and play with perspective a bit. So I found a reference I wanted to use

and tried (somewhat successfully) to make foreshortening my bitch. Yay. This is the first thing I've drawn since my run-in with hospitals and emergency surgeries at the New Year. Next up is banging out all those awesome sailor senshi on my commissions list! *rolls up sleeves*

Paint Tool Sai, about 20(ish) hours.
